Every Vendor We Used For Our Wedding (with reviews)

We got married on August 29, 2020 after months of planning and replanning (thanks COVID). In the age of COVID, it can be so hard to find reliable vendors who you know will follow CDC guidelines and make your life easier. I wanted to share honest reviews of all the vendors we worked with in hopes of helping you plan your perfect day.

I have ranked each vendor out of 10, 10 being the best and 0 being the worst.

Vendors

Dress Shopping

Luckily I went dress shopping the week before COVID shut everything down.

Brides By Glitz: I had the sweetest retired lady as my consultant. I tried on five dress, including the one I ended up picking. My dress was my size so I was able to buy off the rack! 10/10

  • The White Room: I had such a good time at this appointment, however, I think my heart had already decided on my dress. 9/10

  • David’s Bridal: A frustrating and fruitless experience. 3/10

  • Olia Zavozina: One of the most glamorous experiences of my life. 10/10

Catering

M Street: I have to brag on M Street because we had originally planned to have our reception at Moto, but then COVID happened, and Moto was closed. The M Street team kept me updated every week and helped me to relocate the dinner to their other restaurant Saint Anejo. As we got closer to the wedding, with COVID restrictions still in place, we opted to do it at home instead of a restaurant. 9/10

  • Five Points Pizza: A former client of mine and a Nashville fav — Five Points made my life so easy. And who doesn’t love pizza at a wedding? They did forget our salads, BUT I probably should have noticed when I saw how inexpensive the food was. 8/10

Flowers + Decor

All of the flowers and decor were totally DIY. Most of the decor was bought on Facebook Marketplace, stuff I already had, stuff from my sister-in-law’s wedding, or from Etsy and Amazon.

  • Kukka Flowers: I found Kukka from a Google search and I could not have been happier. They send you fresh flowers a few days before your wedding with instructions (that you can follow or not) for how to assemble your bouquets. Since I only needed my bouquet and my MOH’s bouquet, we used the remaining flowers for decor. The prices were reasonable and the customer services was excellent. 10/10

I got the Wild Hearts collection in Small.

Rentals

For some of the bigger items, we decided to rent.

  • Music City Rentals: I changed my mind about a million times about what I needed to rent and they were so patient with me. They also dropped off and picked up the rentals and made it so simple. We rented our sweetheart table, 3 long tables, corn hole, giant jenga, table cloths, and a fan. 10/10

  • Southern Events: I just rented a last minute tent from them. The delivery guys were SO nice and helpful. When I called to ask a few questions, the manager on the phone was seriously rude. 6/10
